The Walking Dead? Pt 2

Part 2

When a dead man’s body was quickly tossed into the same grave as Elisha’s bones, the dead man immediately came to life, stood up and walked out of the cave-grave.
It’s a fascinating two-verse story found in 2 Kings 13:20-21.
Last week I mentioned that we can learn three important things from this little story. See last week’s blog for the first two. We’ll end the story with this final thought that we can apply to our lives.
Thing #3: God is using this truth to awaken US today!

Think about it: Have you ever made a dead man come alive?

Each one of us who have a genuine relationship with Christ should be reflecting His Spirit in our lives so much so that when non-believers come in contact with us, they can see Christ exemplified.

Are we seriously walking in the power of the Holy Spirit?

Are we bringing others into the knowledge of the resurrecting power of Christ?

Christ is still raising the dead.

And I’m convinced He wants to raise the spiritually dead people—who come in contact with us—to life in Him.

Thoughts?

I’m speaking in Fairfield, OH this weekend.

It’s connected to Cincinnati. Thank you in advance for your prayers of God’s blessing and ministry!

Dear Susie, Honesty, this is the 5th time I have tried to post this. I don’t think Satan wants me to talk to you lol. so here goes again. I was sitting in the social security office waiting to change my address,( yes I’m moving again, I think Im going to be a nomad and wander the earth forever.) I was sitting beside a mother and her teen daughter reading your book “Masterpiece” when the mother notice the dollar bill in my book. You see it will always be a bookmark in that book. She said,” that’s an interesting bookmark. So I proceeded to tell her about you and the retreat and how I won the dollar. She asked me what denomination are you and I told her I was a Nazarene. She said she was a Baptist. I said we all worship the same God. Just as they called my number her daughter said, I don’t God. Her mother said we aren’t going there. Satan clearly had a hold of this young lady and it reminded me of the story of the possessed girl in your book. I felt sorry for this young lady. Wow! What a missed opportunity! I cant wait to see you again! God Bless you in your ministry. ( this computer is so old im typing and cant see the words until they appear lol. soooo frustrating and I had to type it 5 times lol. now lets see if it will go

Hi Susie, I was sitting in the social security office waiting to change my address,(Yes I’m moving again, I feel like a nomad who is going to wander the earth forever) reading your book Masterpiece when a woman and her teen or daughter were sitting next to me. The mother noticed my dollar bill bookmark from the Minute to win it game at our retreat. she said that’s an interesting bookmark, ( you see I will never spend it lol). I then began telling her about you and our retreat and how I won the dollar. She ask what denomination I was and I told her I was a Nazarene. she said she was a Baptist. I said we all worship the same God. Then her daughter spoke up and said I don’t worship God. and at that moment my number was called and her mother said, “We aren’t going to talk about that.” Wow! What a missed opportunity! Satan must have a hold on this young lady. I felt sorry for her and it reminded me of the story of the possessed girl in your book. I’m really enjoying your book “40 Days to God Confidence.” God bless you and I cant wait to see you again.
