What Does That Mean?
Ever heard of the word esculent?
It means, “fit to be eaten; edible.”
How about crepitate?
“To make a crackling sound.”
Know what notional means?
“Existing only in the imagination.”
I’m looking forward to the day I’ll never have to find another word in the dictionary!
Scripture indicates we’ll know a lot more than we do now once we’re in heaven with God.
Check out what the apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians:
“Now all that I know is hazy and blurred, but then I will see everything clearly, just as clearly as God sees into my heart right now.” (1 Corinthians 13:12 LB)
While we’ll never know everything (we’ll never be omniscient like God), we’ll certainly have much greater wisdom and understanding in heaven than we do now.
And I’m guessing this could mean never having to use a dictionary.
If you have a genuine, growing relationship with Jesus Christ, He’s working on your eternal home right now.
I can’t wait!
You are so loved!
