It Tastes Like . . .

In 2014, McDonald’s tried to outsmart kids, but kids weren’t having it! The fast-food giant was under pressure to make Happy Meals healthier. Company experts reflected on how toothpaste and amoxicillin producers had used artificial bubblegum flavoring to entice kids into using them.

You know what’s coming, don’t you?
Yep! McDonald’s decided to try a similar strategy with broccoli.

Mickey D’s food scientists successfully made broccoli taste like bubblegum, but when a focus group of kids ate it, they said, “No way!” The result? It was never added to the McDonald’s menu.
Aren’t you glad?

I guess parents who want to trick their kids with a taste bud switcheroo will have to settle on cotton candy grapes. Huh? More on THIS next week!

We can be thankful God never pulls a “switcheroo” on His children.
He says what He means, and He means what He says.
He keeps His Word.
Always.

“You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.” (Joshua 23:14 NIV)
