Peace

Would you send yourself to prison for a piece of quiet?

“Prison Inside Me” is a unique retreat center just a few miles from
Seoul, South Korea. People voluntarily lock themselves away.

Why?
Because they want to detox from stress and reconnect with themselves.

Those who attend this stress camp hand over their phones upon arrival,
must wear a blue uniform, and say goodbye to watches, mirrors, and
external distractions for a few days.

Silence is the norm: They meditate, write, and breathe.
The goal is to find peace in tranquility.

I’m glad there’s an easier way to find peace! Instead of locking ourselves
inside a prison, God offers genuine peace by giving our lives to Him!

“I have told you all this so that you will have peace of heart and mind.” (John 16:33)

Do you need some peace?

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way.” (2 Thessalonians 3:16)

How can we LIVE in God’s peace?

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Who gives us peace?

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” (John 14:27)

I’m grateful God is the Source of true peace. I’m so glad I don’t to lock myself inside a prison to seek peace.

Go ahead. Look up more Scriptures on peace. And start living inside of His
amazing peace today!

And if you know this old hymn, try humming it the rest of the day:

“Wonderful Peace”

Peace, peace! Wonderful peace,
Coming down from the Father above.
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray,
In fathomless billows of love.

You are loved!
