The Bible has some strong warnings:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBut I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of
\njudgment for every empty word they have spoken\u201d
\n(Matthew 12:36 NIV).<\/p>\n

Have you ever been part of a conversation that begins like this:<\/p>\n

\u2022 \u201cWhat I\u2019m telling you is highly confidential, but you\u2019re my friend and I know I can trust you. . . .\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022 \u201cOK, I\u2019m not totally sure about this, but I heard . . .\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022 \u201cIt\u2019s really none of my business, but here\u2019s what I think about . . .\u201d<\/p>\n

These conversation openers are usually a huge forecast of idle wordson their way.<\/p>\n

\u201cA good man\u2019s speech reveals the rich treasures within him.<\/strong>
\nAn evil-hearted man is filled with venom, and his speech reveals it\u201d (Matthew 12:35 LB).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wow.
\nThat\u2019s pretty clear, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

I want to be part of the solution\u2014not the problem.
\nSo I\u2019m choosing to spread \u201cpositive gossip.\u201d
\nAnytime I can say something good about a situation or a person,
\nI\u2019m doing it.<\/p>\n

You see, we\u2019re either part of the judgment problem,
\nor we\u2019re consciously choosing to be active in the grace solution.
\nBut we can\u2019t have it both ways.
\nSo choose your words wisely.<\/p>\n

It really CAN be a game-changer!<\/p>\n
