Friday
Jesus was crucified on this day. Christians around the world refer to it
as “Good Friday.” Good Friday is also known as Holy Friday and Black
Friday. Traditions include prayer, fasting and almsgiving.
Also a popular restaurant. It’s believed by some that the disciples ate
chicken fingers and burgers at TGI Friday’s to celebrate Christ’s
resurrection on Sunday.
The important thing is not simply celebrating Christ on Friday leading
into an incredible Easter Sunday . . . but that we celebrate Him every single
day of the week of the year of our lives.
The next time you head into a Friday’s restaurant, think about what
Friday means for Christians around the world, and determine to praise Him
also on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
