The number 5 is mentioned 318 times in the Bible.
It’s sometimes referred to as the number that symbolizes God’s grace toward mankind. How many letters does the word grace have? 5.
The name of Jesus also has 5 letters.
Number 5 is also associated with the Lord’s Tabernacle. In the Old Testament, the Tabernacle was known as the house of God on earth. During construction of the Tabernacle, God gave exact instructions on how to build it, and inside those instructions, we find the number 5.
• God instructed that the Tabernacle should have 5 pillars, 5 curtains, 5 sockets, and the altar’s specific
dimension should be 5 cubics wide and long.
• The anointing oils that were used to bless the Tabernacle furniture is also made up of 5 spices as its ingredients.
The Old Testament Book of Leviticus features the 5 varieties of offering that God required Israel to bring to Him. God gave us some incredible gifts that comes in increments of 5:
• 5 senses
• 5 fingers
• 5 toes
But my favorite Bible story with the number 5 is the little boy with 5 loaves of bread and fish that Jesus multiplied to feed 5,000.
If Jesus can do that with bread and fish . . . imagine what He can do with your life when you give EVERYTHING to Him!
So far, no one has found “Five Guys Burgers & Fries” in Scripture.
