GOD: Protector

Have you read the Old Testament Book of Exodus? I’m reading the Bible through again this year, and I just finished Exodus. What an amazing book! Each scene could almost stand alone as a movie:

• the baby in the basket
• the parting of the Red Sea
• the 10 plagues
• the pillar of cloud
• the pillar of fire
• the burning bush
• the Ten Commandments

The list just goes on and on. And while this book details the greatest deliverance of people EVER . . . we also discover that God wants to deliver us . . . from whatever bondage we have experienced.

In the first two chapters, we see God as our Protector. It may not be easy, to see, but even during your most difficult trials, God is working in you and through you to help you become stronger . . . and to reveal His protection.

Exodus is the story that gives every captive the hope of freedom.

Of course, GOD is the main character in Exodus. But if there’s a human main character, it’s Moses. I like what evangelist Dwight L. Moody says:

“Moses spent 40 years thinking he was somebody; 40 years learning he was nobody; and 40 years discovering what God can do with a nobody.” —D.L. Moody

God trained Moses in solitude and sheep-herding in Midian for 80 years before He allowed him to accomplish the greatest deliverance in history.

What might God be preparing you for?
Regardless of your age, God still wants to use you.
He’s still dreaming dreams for you!

His plan is still in place.
He is still in charge.
And He is worthy of our praise!

Love,
Susie

Please continue to help me pray I can get back on Facebook.
I mentioned last month that someone hacked my account in September
and posted something so vulgar, that FB immediately shut it down and
kicked me completely off the site.
I’ve tried and tried for more than four months now to be reinstated
to no avail. It will take a miracle for me to get back on. But God is still in the
miracle business, and I loved to use FB for ministry. Please keep praying
for me.
Thanks so much!
