Session 1: Locusts Did What?!?

In this first session with colorful photos and power point, we’ll discover the meaning of the locust plague and how it relates to us today.
Session 2: The Day of the Lord
What is “The Day of the Lord”? We chat briefly about the four ways to interpret End Times and participants are motivated to discern how they will interpret the End Times. Susie continues with Joel and his description about what the end will entail.
Session 3: The Clock Is Ticking
Could we be closer to the end than we realize? Joel doesn’t mince words as he commands people to repent and surrender everything to God. This is a message that’s relevant to us today.
Session 4: The Battle of Armageddon
Colorful photos of where this battle will take place, along with a description of what will happen, make this an exciting session to end Joel’s book. An invitation for salvation is given at the end of this session.
Session 5: The Dark Side of God’s Love
Zephaniah shocks us with a different glimpse of God’s love. Though deep inside we know love isn’t always mushy, we tend to forget that when we think of God. We know God loves all, and most of may have John 3:16 memorized. But God’s love isn’t passive. And it’s certainly not always gooey. This is a wake-up session.
Session 6: It’s Always a Slow Fade
No one wakes up and decides to throw in the towel with their faith immediately. It’s always a slow fade. Sadly, we sometimes see this happening in the church. Zephaniah warns us about being lax and encourages us to live in vibrant faith—ready for the end times.
Session 7: The Lord’s Deliverance
Good News! For those who are living in relationship with Christ, the end times are an exciting reality of an eternity with Him. Zephaniah now moves from gloom to glory and reveals God’s reality of hope. We definitely have reason to celebrate!
