Worship

The word worship appears 8,629 times in the Bible.
Hint: God thinks it’s really really really important. So let’s chat about worship for a moment.
When the word worship is mentioned, we often think of music. And while music is a great way to worship our Savior, there are also several other ways to worship.
We can worship God through the reading of Scripture, by the
giving of our tithes and offerings,
meditation (mentioned in the Psalms several times),
raising of hands,
dance,
stillness,
studying Scripture
and serving others.
This week, strive to branch out from only worshiping God through music, and determine to worship Him in a multitude of ways.
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”
(Psalm 150:6)
