Check this out from The Message:
“It seems to me that God has put us who bear
his message on stage in a theater in which no one
wants to buy a ticket.
“We’re something everyone stands around
and stares at,
like an accident
in the street.
“We’re the Messiah’s misfits.”
(1 Corinthians 4:9)
This is opposite of a “health, wealth and wellness”
message, isn’t it?
We struggle with affliction,
experience difficulties
and are misunderstood by the world.
But I’d rather be the Messiah’s misfit
and live in the center of His will
more than anything else in the world.
Thoughts?
Please pray for me this Sunday as I speak in Tulsa, Okla.
