How long does it take a great white shark to cross the ocean? Well, great white sharks are some of the world’s toughest travelers. They can be regularly seen traversing extreme routes around the world’s oceans.

And they don’t gently wander on their voyages. The great white shark can complete some of the fastest transoceanic migrations ever seen by marine animals!

In the early 2000s, a great white shark swam approximately 12,400 miles from South Africa to Australia then back again within 9 months. What?!?

This amazes me.

Now that we’ve answered the question of how long it takes for a great white shark to cross an ocean . . . let’s focus on another question This one is more important!

How long does it take to grow spiritually stronger?

According to Scripture . . . not long. Check this out:

“Come near to God and he will come near to you.” (James 4:87 NIV)

If you want to grow spiritually, God will help you.

Set aside time for Him daily and seek Him earnestly through reading your Bible and talking with Him.

God’s promise to us is that IF we seek Him with all our heart, we’ll grow spiritually. Here’s the proof:

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)

And one more promise for you:

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.” (Psalm 63:1 NIV)

Aren’t you glad we don’t have to cross an ocean to draw nearer to God?
