Think of God as a Painter
It happened in April 2021.
Scientists from Purdue University revealed a new shade of white paint.
It’s known as the world’s whitest paint!
At first glance, it may look like any other plain white hue found at a local
paint shop. But there’s a difference!
This white paint reflects 98.1% of the sun’s rays.
Most white paints reflect only about 80 to 90%.
According to Guinness World Records, this reflective ability makes this paint the whitest white that’s ever been created!
Imagine if all the roofs of all houses in the world were painted with this new record breaking white paint. It would reduce our air-conditioning bills by a lot! At mid-day, for example, this new paint makes surfaces eight degrees cooler than the surrounding air temperature.
While it’s impossible to paint all the roofs around the world with this new paint, I know of a “white paint” that’s even whiter and brighter than what the Guinness World Records has on file.
It’s God’s paint!
“Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.” (Psalm 51:7 LB)
God has a miraculous paint that not only whitewashes us but completely removes the degrading stain of sin in our lives.
What a God!
What a Painter.
What a Savior.
What a Father.
And He’s still working on our canvas:
“Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires.” (Psalm 51:10 LB)
Thank You, Father, for being a masterpiece Painter.
I love Your white paint!
It breaks all records.
Will you make some time today to thank God for creating in you a pure and clean heart!
Love,
Susie
